Kseniya Simonova, a 24 year old artist from Ukraine uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and “sand painting”  to interpret Germany’s invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII. She won Ukraine’s Got Talent 2009.  Here’s a video of that performance.  She’s incredible. Take a moment to watch.
